The Woodland View Holiday Apartment journey began in the late Spring of 2016 when Jill and Adrian acquired the property located in the hamlet of Porthyrhyd just outside Llandovery and on the edge of the Brecon Beacons.
It is the culmination of more than 2 years of hard work renovating and re-landscaping the grounds. Meticulous attention to detail was paid to every single part of the renovation works, furnishing and finishings.
The result you see today is a first class luxury holiday apartment that has been rated 5 Stars with Visit Wales.
The apartment comprises the very latest in Home Technology for you to experience and to make your stay one to be remembered. It features an automated gated entrance, personalised coded lock for the duration of your stay, full featured automated electronic lighting, automated hot water and heating and to really provide you with the ultimate in a luxury stay.
A bespoke Private Cinema with a top end projector onto a 3m ultra-wide screen with full surround sound for you to enjoy and includes use super fast Fibre Broadband connection for streaming films. Guest Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.
The accommodation comprises 2 luxury Kingsize/twin bedrooms each with an en-suite and walk-in wet room/shower, basin, toilet and shaver point. Included are luxury toiletries such as hand-made Welsh goats milk soap from Llanvalley and Gilchrist & Soames shampoos and shower gels.
The fully fitted kitchen has every appliance you will need including, cooker/hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, toaster, coffee machine, hoover, ironing board with iron.
Dogs are welcome and we have even included a dedicated “Paws Paradise” with electric underfloor heating and all the dog essentials (towels, dog bowls and biscuits). Although dogs are not allowed in any of the bedrooms or the Private Cinema, we have included a dog “gate” so they are not far away.
Our landscaped gardens include a large indian sandstone patio with table and chairs plus umbrella, bench seating, Summer house, cycle shed for those keen cyclists, wash point, boot stand, boot remover and outdoor power socket.
The large car park is well lit and provides parking for several cars.
